External scrapers are optional torrent packs under Settings > Torrent Scrapers. Enable them there. Red Light does not provide support for third-party scraper modules.

Internal Scrapers are on the same page (Indexers: AnimeTosho, Nyaa, PirateBay, Torrent Downloads; Sites: Comet, MediaFusion, StremThru Torz, Torrentio, Zilean). They are Red Light's own. They are not slots, do not use Search Mode, and work with or without a pack. They use the same debrid Check Cached Status setting as packs. Debrid accounts are under Settings > Debrid Accounts.

They search the episode or movie only — not a separate season/show pack scrape. PACK is shown when the filename looks like a pack (Season 02, complete, and similar). Sites often name the episode file inside a pack, so a results list can have no PACK rows and still be using pack torrents. External Scrapers still run their extra pack searches when the season is fully aired.

When Check Before Full Search is on for EasyNews, cloud, folders, AIOStreams or NZB, those run first. If early results open the list, Run Scraper Search continues with remaining scrapers. Check Before hits stay and are not searched again.

You can assign up to three packs (slots). Each slot is independently enabled. Results from all enabled slots are merged and duplicates removed. The same torrent from Internal Scrapers and a pack is shown once per debrid (cached row wins).

Play Options
Scrape with ALL External Scrapers turns External on for that title and runs every scraper in every assigned slot (enabled or disabled) in parallel. Empty slots stay unused. Search Mode is not used for that scrape. Scrape with ALL Internal Scrapers turns Internal Scrapers on and runs every Indexer and Site with its assigned instance. Needs a debrid account. Enable is not saved. Not AIOStreams, debrid cloud, EasyNews, folders, or NZB. Scrape with Custom Values asks External, then Internal, then filters.

Rescrape Actions (Settings > Results) can retry the same way after no playable results: Rescrape With Disabled External Scrapers and Rescrape With Disabled Internal Scrapers. Each forces that family on even if it was off for the first scrape.

Prefer Internal Scrapers
Shown when External Scrapers and Internal Scrapers are both on. When both found the same torrent, keep the Internal Indexer/Site label instead of the pack. Does not change quality or size sort, scrape timeout, or Search Mode.

Choose Module
Lists known compatible packs that are already installed: Classy, CocoScrapers, Diamond, Gears, Magneto, Taz19, Viper. Other lists every Python module (Back returns to the known list). The same pack cannot be in two slots. Empty slots are not auto-filled. If no free compatible pack is installed, Install or Other is offered; after a pack installs, open Choose Module again to assign it.

Open Slot Module Settings
Opens that pack's own settings, then returns to Torrent Scrapers.

Clear Slot removes the pack from that slot. Move Slot Up swaps search order (slot 2 with 1, or slot 3 with 2).

Search Mode appears once two or more slots are enabled:

Series (Fallback by Slot Order) (default)
Runs slot 1 for the full scraper timeout. Moves to slot 2 only if slot 1 returns nothing, then to slot 3 if slot 2 returns nothing. Gentlest on shared indexers.

Series (All Slots in Order)
Runs slot 1, then 2, then 3 — each in turn with the remaining shared timeout. Does not stop early.

Primary Slot + Parallel Fallback
Slot 1 gets a full dedicated timeout, then slots 2 and 3 run together with a second full timeout.

Parallel (All Enabled Slots)
All enabled slots share one timeout and thread pool. Fastest first results; slot 1 often returns fewer rows than in Series modes.

Leaving the default Series Fallback is recommended. The other modes can hit the same community indexers more than once.

Scraper Timeout (Settings > Results) is the time allowed for the scrape, including external slots. Debrid Check Cached Status is per account and is separate from Search Mode.
